Our Story

Since 1997, the founder of OurStory Tours has offered and led life-changing educational travel and college tours for school groups throughout the world. Seeing a need for meaningful and comprehensive options to explore African-American history and culture, OurStory was established. OurStory Educational Tours works with inner-city schools, programs, and community based organizations nationwide to customize African-American educational experiences in the U.S. and abroad. It’s time for our children to know our story… It’s time for OUR story to be told.

Our Story Tours arranges all travel accommodations for the trip, including lodging, transportation, and required meals. In addition, we take great care in planning any special activities specific to your customized learning/travel experience. Every tour includes an experienced tour consultant to help with each step of your journey. Our knowledgeable tour consultants are available to answer any questions that arise for group leaders, students, and their parents. Our staff will work with you from the conception of your journey through its completion, and all points in between.
